My Skills

Since 2016, I've been working as a server at one of the premier retirement homes in the Baltimore County area. As a server, I've garnered a variety of team management and customer service skills that have helped me become a better team player and worker.

My responsibilities include making sure every resident receives the best care when ordering their meals. My tasks also include communicating with other departments and coordinators to make sure food quality is in perfect condition.
While I love learning and improving soft skills on the job, the most fulfilling part is making relationships with the staff and the residents. It motivated me to write a report for my Professional Writing project
that touches on ways to combat elder abuse and neglect at the facility.
Data Analysis
From SPSS to Tableau, I have honed in a variety of data skills to help firms find trends and meaning in their databases. Look under Classes for more information regarding my data analytics experience.
Creative Writing
Writing stories has always been something I've enjoyed. Whether for a class or for film reviewing, writing creative pieces has provided a place of comfort and a way to build the skill set. Look under Classes to find examples of a few of my writing pieces.
Communiction
To communicate is to talk but also to listen. Through my class and work experience, I have not only learned how to speak effectively but understand and acknowledge others views regarding a project or issue.
